Fu-Rin Japanese Restaurant

Went to Fu-Rin Jap Rest at Holiday Inn Hotel, Glenmarie for our Dept Team lunch.

Its our first time there cos we heard so much about it. They're famous for its weekend buffet lunch.

Wanted to book their 'Tatami room' but its not available. So we booked the private room with a western sit-in for RM80 per room.

Exclusive ambiance.

Ahboss had his raw fishes

MO had her grilled unagi

The rest of us had grilled cod-fish set lunch.

Additionals (Mushrooms, Asparagus & Soft Shell Crab) which we ordered twice!!

Green Tea Ice-Cream for Dessert

Ahboss paid nearly RM850++ for it. To me, its not that worth it cos I find the food, 'biasa' jer.

New Lala Chong Restaurant & Polling

Ah Boss took us to the new Lala Chong, i think the place is somewhere near Ara Damasara. The place is clean and airy. The food is as tasty as the old Lala Chong. We ordered lala soup, salted prawns, fried squid, paku sambal, sizzling taufu and black pepper venison for ah boss and 'M'. Since there's only 5 of us, we didn't order fish or chicken. The lala today is so 'bloddy' fresh and must mentioned here oso, its size is big too!! Altho not many variety but at the end of the session, our stomach is so bloated!!

Tomorrow is polling day. Please vote for 'Stability'. I'm sure those who value peace in the country will vote wisely. I can't wait to do my part tomorrow. My voting place will be in Kelana Jaya. After voting, hubby and me will drive back to Seremban cos he's voting place is in Bukit Chedang. I wish everybody 'Selamat Mengundi' - Undilah dengan bijak!

Dept Team Lunch

Today we had department team lunch. this time the Sales Director signed the bill. We had lunch at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant in Sheraton Subang, all 8 of us, 6 girls and 2 males.

Its sort of a special lunch for SOD as the SD wanna thanked us for our support to the Sales team and also to announced that the company did well for the year. Hopefully the support staff get to go to a nice place for incentive trip next year. As for the Sales Force team, they get to choose between New York, London or Japan for their incentive trip. We are happy that we achieved target again this year. Thanks to everyones' effort in the company as a whole. We had :-
Emperor 3 hot & cold combination.

Braised Fresh Scallop soup with spinach juice (green colour soup? but sedap!!)

Deep Fried Chicken with mango thai sauce (i've never enjoyed fried chic, but this is really nice!)

Stir Fried Prawn with marmite sauce

Braised Sea Cucumber with Black Mushrooms with Brocolli (the brocolli is a bit too hard)

Steam Cod Fish with Oyster Sauce (must order this dish cos its my fave)

Fried Rice with garlic, diced chicken & silver anchovies (by the time it came, tummy full oredi)

Steamed eye bean with read bean paste (don't really fancy this dessert but i still ate it!)

Beside discussing about next year's plans, SD also elaborate and explained to us regarding the rumours about our product patent expiry, etc. Finished our lunch at 2:30pm.

JM Briyani

Last week just a day before the Ramadhan, our boss invite us for the SOD Team lunch. He suggested that we go for Briyani. So off we went to JM Briyani which is located in Subang Jaya. If i'm not mistaken they have another branch in Tesco Shah Alam. It was not our first time eating JM Briyani but it is our first time eating at Subang Jaya. I can tell you the restaurant was packed with people.

We ordered a few dishes and i must comment that the Ayam Goreng was very good. Its tender and tasty. Most of us had our briyani rice with fried chicken, 'ayam masak merah' or 'rendang kambing'. It is also served with 'dhall curry' and 'acar nenas'. Luckily the service was fast so we had our food earlier. I only fancy briyani mamak so i'm in no position to comment the JM Briyani rice. To me the rice is softlar.

Ah Boss also ordered their 'Tauhu Sumbat' and also 'Pecal'......perhhh...memang sedap!!... I forgot to take those pics. Overall i give 6 out of 10....remember....its becos i'm no fan of briyani johor.....for those who love it....no offence ya..
P/S : I'm not going to talk about the recent Anugerah Era that i went. Firstly because huby n me are not a fan of Era. Secondly, we were actually reluctant to go but becos we got the tickets free from my SIL and she sort of beg/wanted us to go, we have no choice but to go. Thirdly, after they remove Khairil from Era, we planned to boycott it. Of course lar, he's huby's cousin, we have to be bias-lar. Forthly, the show sucks!! Read the review from the newspaper, you'll know what i mean. The only best thing about it is Anuar Zain, yeah, his performance was superb!!
