Cocktail d Luna Bar

Last nite the sales department were invited for a cocktail with our new CEO (of Turkey decendent) at Luna Bar. Luckily our sales closing was yesterday so everyone went with a happy heart. WE MADE IT!! Our sales achieved RM300++ mio this year.....clap...clap...clap... all with d hard work from the sales reps and of course other support staff from other departments who helped.

The 5 of us hop onto our colleague S car. We left office (after changing) at around 4:45pm. There were a massive jam (as expected) at the Federal Highway. We were in d jam for nearly 2 hours. We reached Menara Pan Global around close to 7pm. Needles to say most of the people were there but the place still not filled-up. Most of the people reached around 8pm. Our CEO's driver got lost and were held up somewhere.

For me, Luna is just a normal Club....exclusive lar...tapi takda lah exclusive sangat!! But its a great place to hang out and they've got breathtaking views at nite cos u get to see most part of KL city. Luna is nice cos the pool is sooo tempting, plus u get to see d crystal lightings of KLCC.

Behind us, KLCC

On the background, KL city

The finger food that were served were delicious especialy the chicken wings. And of course free flow of their in-house fresh juices, wine, beer and red wine.

Some of d pics of us @ Luna Bar.

McDonalds Move-It Set!

Have u tried the Madagascar Move-It set at McDonalds??

The McShaker Fries (not that good)
Green McFizz drinks (not that good too)
But the burger...that's good!!!

Madagascar, Escape to Africa

Saw Madagascar last weekend....sempat jugak dalam sibok-sibok tu..hehehe... At first we contemplated cos the review was not that good. Plus all the nieces and nephews said it wasn't that good too. But cos we saw the first one, we decided we had to see the continuation.

Genre : Animation and Comedy and Adventure

The plot : In the highly-anticipated sequel to 'Madagascar,' Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, King Julien, Maurice and the penguins and the chimps find themselves marooned on the distant shores of Madagascar. In the face of this obstacle, the New Yorkers have hatched a plan so crazy it just might work. With military precision, the penguins have repaired an old crashed plane--sort of. Once aloft, this unlikely crew stays airborne just long enough to make it to the wildest place of all--the vast plains of Africa, where the members of our zoo-raised crew encounter species of their own kind for the very first time. Africa seems like a great place...but is it better than their Central Park home?

But it turns out all rite. I think i enjoyed the movie and its really quite funny.

Ka Fei Dian Kopitiam

Weekends ago, bee took me to Amcorp Mall....rasa lama tak pi sana so i requested and he agreed to take me there. I wanted to look for a cocktail top cos we're having a cocktail nite with our new CEO from Turkey this coming Friday.

After the jalan-jalan (still no sign of cocktail blouse), tentulah dahaga kan. So we hop into this new place (our first time).

Its a small kopitiam at a little corner on the 1st floor.

Had its roti bakar (memang sedap dan di-rekomen). I had Iced Milo and bee had Iced Coffee...the drinks memang 'kow'!! And then the both of us ordered Otak-Otak. They heat it up and they're really really sedap!

Fu-Rin Japanese Restaurant

Went to Fu-Rin Jap Rest at Holiday Inn Hotel, Glenmarie for our Dept Team lunch.

Its our first time there cos we heard so much about it. They're famous for its weekend buffet lunch.

Wanted to book their 'Tatami room' but its not available. So we booked the private room with a western sit-in for RM80 per room.

Exclusive ambiance.

Ahboss had his raw fishes

MO had her grilled unagi

The rest of us had grilled cod-fish set lunch.

Additionals (Mushrooms, Asparagus & Soft Shell Crab) which we ordered twice!!

Green Tea Ice-Cream for Dessert

Ahboss paid nearly RM850++ for it. To me, its not that worth it cos I find the food, 'biasa' jer.

Happy Birthday Pa

Today is my Papa's birthday and he is 65 years old. I always prayed that he'll be blessed with great health and have good energy to travel every year like he's been enjoying it with my mama. I'm happy when they get to travel together to places they've never been before. They've so far covered half of the countries all over the world....little bit here and there.

Since today falls on a working day, I've planned that we make a simple supper for him tonite. My mom agreed to fry some karipaf. I'm bringing chicken satay, my sis-inlaw is bringing d cake and Aunty M has kindly voluntereed to bring fried mihun.

Chocolate Cheese Cake from The Zon (very tasty, none too sweet or too cheesy)

It was a nice n simple celebration. I'm papa is happy with the small gesture :)

Simple Things in Life

My husband liked the simple things in life. He said he misses his childhood days when they used to stay in Seberang Perai, Taiping, Segamat and other places. When his late father was an estate manager, they are not used to stay at one place.

Most kids despise shifting but unlike huby. He said he doesn't mind going to new place, meeting new friends and going to new schools. He said its like an adventure for him getting to new school and having new friends.

He used to tell me about having home-made kuih made by the locals and selling at a very cheap price. Dah lah sedap, murah pulak tu. I know he misses staying at estates becos he said its peace and quiet. Later in his teens, his mom decided that they had enough of staying in 'jungles' and decided to stay in town instead.

Once in awhile, huby will take me to place like Taiping and other remote places just to enjoy a plate of pasembor or a bowl of cendol that still taste like old times.

Just last week, we went to Cheras and he took me to a place to go for 'Air Kelapa Muda'. Perghhh.....not only the coconut juice is refreshing, its also cheap. And the person who handles the stall just know what we wanted. Huby asked for a 'air-kelapa with not so much of isi'...and this is what we got...

Lotsa n lotsa of isi kelapa...

All the isi has been scrapped off..hehehe...

Sedap!!

Its only RM2.00!! In KL??

Just opposite the Petronal gas station. You cannot missed this stall cos its just at the corner of Jalan Len Sen.
