Eat Workshop

Have u been to 'Eat Workshop'? We had our department lunch there today.

Its a fine dining restaurant hidden in between the bustling factories surrounding it. Ahboss couldn't join us, so there were juz the 6 of us. We had main dishes and shared desserts.

Our ceaser salad (which we shared) were very very good!!!!

I had 'Blacken Dory Fish', some had steak, salmon and chicken....all dishes were juz delicious.

Dessert was good.....juz icing to the cake.

Dim Sum before the fasting month

Cuzin F.Cantona is craving for dimsum!!! She said we muz have our dose of dimsum before d fasting month starts. Bee said he dowana go drive all the way to KL to have dimsum, hence he said Quality hotel in Shahalam had a promotion. So Aunty M and cuzin F.Cantona agreed to to have it there. So today everyone of us are available, didn't make any reservation, so we juz walk-in. We were the first to reach the restaurant but later the place was almost full.

The price is reasonable...and their dimsum?? Memang sedap!!! We called out the chef to thank him on his delicious dimsum. They had variety of dimsums and the buffet table that served desserts were aplenty. Their selection of steam and fried, memang best!!

The hotel after their renovation is so much better. After dimsum, we juz walk across the road togoto Plaza Alam Sentral for jalan-jalan before all of us went back to our homes to rest.

We planned to got there again...maybe after the fasting month pulak..hehehe...

Toast Box

After office, both of us went to Pyramid. Had early dinner at Toast Box (since we didn't wanna eat heavy stuff) and tryout their promotion. This is Curry Laksa & Hot Barley (RM8.90 per set). Bee ordered Curry Mee & Cold Barley (RM8.50 per set).

We always passed by this place which is located at the lower ground in Marakesh. They have a nice seat in the inside of the shop and a few seats outside its shops. Unfortunately, i must say that i'm disappointed with this place.

First of all, they don't serve cut-chillie. For those chillie eaters, forget about eating here!! No cili-padi, not even red-chillies and no sambal....WTH??? Anyway, i asked the waitress why and she said its because the shop apply 'singaporean' sytle of eathing?! Huh?!

I'm NEVER gonna try their main-dishes again cos there isn't any cut-chillies to go with it!!!

But credits to the french toast. Since bee finish his curry mee (cos its taste 'TAK SEDAP'), i ordered for him French Toast (RM3.30) and luckily its not bad.

Sushi Zanmai again

After office today, we wanted to go find some stuffs. I suggested bee whether he wants to try Sushi Zanmai....as usual he oblighed lah...hihihi.

We got a cubicle seat next to the sushi-belt.

We didn't order much, just some Chawanmushi, sashimi, fried tofu and the prawns with rice...which makes us both oredi fully.

Bee liked the place too and he acknowledged that the food is good too.

Restaurant Sri Paandi

Last weekend before i went back to Seremban, we went for lunch. Thot of trying some banana-leaves. Since our couple frens were already in Seremban, we went together jer lah.

As usual the GPS-man he is, we managed to find this place. Its located at Jalan Gasing. There were another famous restaurant just beside it but we decided to eat here instead.

There were 4 types of veges. And then 2 types of crackers (papadum & potato crackers). We just ordered 1 piece of fried chicken and a small plate of fried squid. Lucky thing also that we didn't order much. Altho i must confess the photo does do justice to the food but in actual FACT, it SUCKS!!

What a BIG dissappointment. The rice wasn't hot enough, the curry gravy were just so-so. The rest of the taste were just not there. No authenticity in their food....wat happened? Even the service was bad.

Definately our last meal there. No repeat customer for them.

Victoria Station, Medan D'sara

I donno how long it has been but its a long time since we last step inside the V.Station in Medan D'sara. Its a spur of a moment thingy. Didn't know where and what to eat. I suggested the place since bee said he tasted steak almost all restaurant that served western dishes but VS is serves the best......so here we are.

Nothing's changed. Its the same ol' place. Its never been refurbished and its d same concept and same everything.

Their sharksfin soup....is still the best.

Any western dishes will be served with bread and butter.

Sirloin Steak and its salad. Bee said its steak is just juicy and the best so far.

Barbeque Fish. My first time trying and its not dissappointing at all.

Crepes with orange sauce.....urggghhhhh.....it is so terrible. It was horrible that my throat cannot take it. I ask for a change and the kind captain managed to change it to Cheese Cake instead.

The service is of course attentive and it has been their signature all the while. We had a satisfying meal indeed.

My b'day feast

Eating will be the main agenda on birthdays. Of course eating with bee is a must. And then with my family (but we could not gather altogether, hence its postponed). Had diner at Tram Car with couzin F and Auntie M.

I had the cliche which is the sharksfin soup and barbeque fish. And the food as usual, up to standard n good. Thanks guys for treating us with the lovely expensive dinner.

The rest had mixed of western and locals.

Our next outing will be at Tram Car but they said we eat only local this time. I tried couzin F's Indonesia fried rice and its sedap!!

Durian Fest Again

Yezzzz, tis d season of the king of the fruits again!! And our sports club has organised a durian 'makan-makan' and all of us are so looking forward to it...yayyyy!!

Today, we get to sample the best grade durian...FOC!! It is the time of the year where all of us get to eat lotsa lotsa durians. Actually, there's also mangoesteen, but d durian cast a spell on us, that we only see DURIANS....hehehe.

But unfortunately, i can only eat 3 pieces....cos i felt muak-lah...hehehe...

This one is very the lemak (n with lotsa cholesterol)

The next day, went to my parents place and my mom served us two large bowls of durians which 6 of us ate all!!
