Bee Movie

Last saturday after breakfast at my mom's place, Bee and me head off to OU to catch the morning show - Bee Movie at TGV.

That's right folks, i wanna watch it! Its a comedy-animated movie starring the voice talents of Jerry Sienfeld Renee Zellwegger and Matthew Broderick to name a few. The plot :-

Barry Bee Benson is a graduate bee fresh out of college who is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a rare trip outside the hive and after a series of misadventure, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans are mass consumers of honey and decides to sue the human race for stealing bees' honey.

During a trip to the supermarket with her, Barry discovers that humans have been stealing the bees' honey. In an attempt to recover the stolen honey from the humans, he travels to a honey farm and soon realizes that the humans have the bees trapped and are harvesting the their honey. He soon brings the humans to court for this theft, with Vanessa and his friend Adam as his attorneys, he wins the lawsuit against the honey companies. As a result of the lawsuit, the bees reclaim all of the honey that has been stolen from them.

Because of the surplus of honey, the bees no longer have to produce any more honey. The pollen jocks stop pollinating the plants, and as a result they wither and die. Barry soon realizes the consequences of the lawsuit. In a quest to save the plants, he and Vanessa travel to Pasadena, Rose Parade to recover the last surviving flowers. On the plane ride home, Barry startles the pilots, who become unconscious. Barry and Vanessa then have to land the plane. With the bees' help, they successfully accomplish this feat. Barry and the pollen jocks then pollinate the nation's plants, making the world look beautiful again. Barry and Vanessa set up a flower, honey, and legal-advice shop to conclude the film.

Bring your kids to the show, they'll find it funny. Huby and me enjoyed it mostly towards the end. We were so hungry after the movie, went to Johnny's for lunch.
