Happy Mama's Day

Yesterday was Mother's day. My parents were at my place since last nite. They had to attend a wedding dinner at a Dewan Felda in KL and we sent them there. Bee and i didn't go to the reception cos only 2 person were invited. So, bee and i meet up my bro n sis-inlaw in Keramat and had dinner there. After dinner, we fetched my parents and head back to my place.

The next morning, my parents wanted to go to the Pasar Tani shahalam. We sent them there cos we pitied papa who had to find parking at d very packed place. Later we fetched them back.

My bro and sis-inlaw came to our house about 2 hours before lunch. Then all six of us head to Putrajaya for Mother's day luncheon at Palm Garden Hotel. Its a buffet lunch....cos mama loike going for buffet at hotels. The lunchon includes a door-gift bag but only for the ladies, a Female mag, 2 F&B vouchers frm d hotel and some samples.

After lunch, we head back cos the hot and humid weather has made us all felt restless n tired. Since everyone had good food in the afternoon, for diner, i juz cooked simple dishes eg. nasi goreng kampung and mee kuah udang.

All of the above were some of the messages that i received from relatives and friends. I thank you for the thotful wishes. I also hope this year, we will see more SUCCESS, PEACE and HARMONY for our country, beautiful MALAYSIA.

What is your resolution? I have none but i wanna try to improve myself to be a better wife, better colleague, better fren and a better daughter/inlaw. I must also improve to be better spiritually too...age is cathing up. I must try to lessen my curses, lessen my hatred/despises and also look at things more positively (not that i've been seing it negatively lar). I hoped and prayed to have a much better and successful life, insyallah.

Maal Hijrah 1430

We have now crossed the new Hijrah year of 1430, Bee and i are wishing muslims all over the world Happy Maal Hijrah. May all Muslims all over the world be blessed with good health, wealth, happiness and PEACE.

Altho i'm deeply sadden by the recent war between Palestine & Israel, while other big countries just sit down and do nothing, i prayed that someone or something put a stop to this conflict. Condemn the Israelis for declaring war.

Age is just a number?

I turned 37 today. Hmm...can't believe it!! They call it...late 30's... gosh!! But they said age is just a number. There's so many things that i wanna achieved and i hope one day i'll be able to do so, insyallah.


Alhamdulilah for all the great things and good health. I'm sure in our life, we'll always pray for good things to come our way. I thank God cos i get to share life with Bee and with all my families, relatives, friends and colleagues.


I'm just gonna enjoy d day wif loved ones. I've been going 4 makan-makan since yesterday and i think i've grown a few kilos after the fasting month...gosh!!

I might be 'off' blogging for awhile. Got lotsa things to do, preparation before 1st Syawal, during and after. I'll be around town and Seremban. Can't wait to eat the 'macaroni sup', nasi impit, kuah kacang, rendang ayam, lontong and ketupat daun palas.

Hope its not too late to wish all Muslim all over the world a warm and heartfelt Happy Ramadhan.

Ramadhan is a holy month for fasting. Have a blessed Ramadhan. May Allah bless and accept all our fasting, our solat, our doa and our good deeds, insyallah.

I hope and pray that Allah will protect everybody all over the world no matter what their religion are. May there be peace in the world for all human and animal kingdom.

Eppy Besday Bro

Today's my bro's birthday. This year is going to be his 2nd year in the marriage life with my sis-inlaw. I wished him this morning and maybe we'll have d birthday dinner this weekend. Its gonna be a long weekend cos its Merdeka month.

I think this year the Merdeka celebration macam takda apa-apa jer. Donno why?? Tak ramai pun yang letak bendera banyak-banyak. So sad kan. But anyway the politics this time pun really sucks!! I've not been reading the newspapers lately and skipped the news... so heart sick. With somebody tryin hard to be the next PM..puiihh!! Watever it is, life goes on....and bee n i just wanna get on with our everyday life, peacefully. As long as we can go out, jalan-jalan, makan-makan, holiday-holiday peacefully jadilah.

Happy Anniversary Pa/Ma

Today is a sacred day for my parents. Its their 37th anniversary. We will take them for dinner. What else to do lar? Beside taking them for makan-makan, celebrate their long-live marriage.

All of us prayed and hoped that Papa & Mama will be blessed with abundance of good health & wealth, a lot of happiness, a lot of energy for future trips and years ahead. We all loved you guys and we thank you for bringing us up and taking care of us.

Happy Birthday Bee

Wishing you, A Happy Happy Birthday. May Allah blessed you with abundance of good health, wealth and happiness. I hope that we are able to live life to the fullest, insyallah.

I wanna THANK U for everything that you have done for me especially during the 'trying' and 'testing' time. I know words are just not enough for i prayed that your kindness are paid.

Folks, i wanna talk about my bee. Please don't misinterpret, I'm not here to boast or brag or show-off but i wanna tell you about him.

When i was announced pregnant, the doctor gave me 2 weeks medical leave cos i was very weak. Bee took the whole week off and took care of me. The doctor also advised that i'm not supposed to do any housework or carry heavy stuff (usually preggers were advised that same!).

In the morning, hubby would prepare breakfast for me. He would make me a cup of milo and asked what i wanted for breakfast. Usually i opt for cereal cos at that time my appetite is not so good. After breakfast he would clean the dishes and clear the rubbish. He will sweep the floor and clear the dishwasher. Luckily we hire a maid that comes to the house twice a month to do mopping and ironing.


What i did was just rest in bed or watch TV. Bee will buy magazines for me to read and past my time. He didn't let me lift a finger. I was not allowed to go into the kitchen!! I will have to wash my hands in the bathroom.


At noon, he will go out to buy newspaper or run errand and buy us lunch. The he will set the table for lunch and served lunch for me. One of the days he will do the laundry (i just need to teach him once and he did it till now!!). Once the washing machine stops, he hangs the clothes. Gosh!! I felt so bad but i was helpless i just couldn't do anything. In the evening he will make sure that he makes drinks for me and sometimes buy kuih for 'tea-time'. Later in the late evening, he will asked me what i feel like eating and he will try to find it. Usually i ask for porridge or nasi goreng cos i don't wanna burden him so much. He will be so patient with me when i didn't or couldn't finish my meal. Gosh....he's so patient!!

My heart sank seing him doing all those house work but like i said, i'm already so helpless, there isn't much that i can do. I kept on apologising and he kept on scolding me cos he said he didn't mind. He said he just want me to get well soon.

The second week, i stayed at my mom's place cos he's got to go to work. He will leave in the morning and comes back in the evening. I had to thank my mom too cos she took care of my meals and ensure that i have enough rest. Sometimes she'll ask what i feel like having and will try to cook it.

After the miscarriaged, in our culture we were supposed to be in a confinement for at least 2 weeks to 30 days, so i was at home on medical leave, huby still does the things that he did. He boils water, set the table for meals, do the laundry, ensure that the house is clean and cleans the toilet. I'm so greatful for having him! I know its not an easy task for a man but he did it and didn't even complain!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH BEE. (Oya, i forced him to take me out on his birthday, i insist that i wanna treat him lunch, we went to Chill's at OU, huby had a combination n i had chicken breast. Lucky thing when i went to Hong Kong i bought something for him or else how am i supposed to get him gift when i'm sick and have been at home all this time, hehe....see how things happens for a reason!!)

He has been the one who gave me strength to go thru this testing time. The person who's given me courage and advise, the person with all the positive vibes and the person who prays for my fast recovery. He's cool with everything, so i guess that is why i'm on the right track. Maybe that's why i don't have post-natal depression or something like that. I'm indeed grateful.

I'm so thankfull to these people who has been very generous in helping me recuperate. I wish and pray that GOD will take care of them and bless them always!!

Happy Birthday Papa

17th November 2007 was the day we celebrated Papa's birthday. He is 64 years old. May Allah blessed him with abundance of good health, long-live, peace of mind, great wealth and loads of happiness.

I've always been my dad's daughter. I'm much more like him rather then my mom. I have most traits like him, eg. soft-spoken, lotsa humour, loving and much more humble (maybe sometimes tak kena tempat oso). But i'm generous, which is so unlike him. I will get all worked-up if anybody makes fun of him or intimidate him or talks bad about him cos i know he's so harmless. I don't care if people fight with my mom or intimidate her cos i know she can just lash back at them or give them a piece of her mind. My papa is different, he's just so in-capable of talking back to people and usually prefers to keep quiet. But don't wake a tiger taking nap cos you don't know what its capable off...hehehe...

We all took him to Boston Grill in Cheras. He and bro had beef sirloin, huby n me had fish n chips, mom had fisherman's platter while sil had mushroom chicken mushroom. We ordered 3 bowls of mushroom soup which is shared per couple. Then we ordered chicken quasidilas for starter before goffing down the main dish. We purposely didn't wana order each bowl of soup cos we won't be enjoying the main dish. That too the starter has made us half full. Sayang, everytime i wana try their dessert, don't have the chance just becos there's no more room in our stomach...shish!!

After diner, since there's no room for desert, we present papa with a small round cheese-cake and sang for him. He's so happy. Its so easy to make my dad happy. You just buy him a shirt and he'll be very happy (BTW, he loves shirts!). He is a non-fussy-easy-living creature and my mom is just so lucky to have him. He's gentle and yet down-to-earth. Love you papa.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Wishing muslims all over Malaysia a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir & Batin.

I will be celebrating Hari Raya this year with my inlaws. Insyallah, i will be leaving for Seremban on the eve nite of raya. I will break-fast with my family before i leave for Seremban. I will be back to KL on the 3rd raya. Insyallah, i will be spending 3rd and 4th raya visiting relatives on my side.

Usually, the norm, i will bake at least 2 types of cakes and send to my parents place (chocolate cake with chocolate topping and plain butter cake). I've already bought for my mom 3 types of raya cookies. And then its my contribution to cook nasi impit and kuah kacang for my mom. This year my brother and his wife will be at my parents house to help around. I'm bringing the famous Kelana Jaya Bahulu for my inlaws and bake a 'date' cake.

On the 5th of raya, i will be heading to Awana Genting for our 3D/2N stay, SOD deparment off-site teambuilding. We will be doing ATV activites and tube water rafting (hope to be able to capture those moments to blog). I will be back to the office on the 22nd of October 2007. This blogger will be taking 'off' blogging for awhile.
