Yes!! I juz attended Yoga class which our office gym organised every Friday morning at 7am!!. You heard that rite!!. I decided that my body needed some exercise and i gotta start something. Plus my physhiotherapist advised me to start taking up exercise.
I've done steps aerobics (not advisabale cos of my ankle), i've done cardio with the trainer (don't like it so much cos its boring), i've done line-dancing (got bored too). So now i'm trying Yoga for beginners.
My first day was a struggle man!! I could not do most of the easy stretching. However, i've learnt a lot about inner balance and discovered that yoga let u de-stress. Certain position make your joint stretched, i'll learn more about flexibility in future classes. And i can't believe that i actually sweat!! I'm a 'hypotension' person, i've got low blood, i seldom sweat.......and yoga makes me sweat (a little).
The instructress was good, she explained the benefits of yoga. Below are some of the benefits that i gathered from a website.
