Before i left for Shenzen and HK, people said their food is not so good. Expect bland and soupy dishes. Surprisingly, the food is very very sedap. Not only for the muslim food, my frens who had non-muslim food said the food is very tasty.

Happening Hong Kong
On the third day after breakfast, we have to take the ferry transfer from Shenzen back to Hong Kong. Once we reached Hong Kong it is just in time for lunch. I had lunch at the Islamic Centre. I must say that the food is 'sedap'.
I must say that Hong Kong people are very rude!! I heard so much about them being rude and all but i get to experience it myself! There is no 'excuse-me', its practically okey for them to push u or just elbow you. We end up saying sorry! The only polite and friendly people can be found only in Hong Kong Disneyland!!
First of all, we were taken to the famous must-go 'Victoria Peak'. Took a tramp up. I was so in love with the weather, its soooo cooling. Too bad the pictures didn't turn our nice cos it was a bit misty. We get to see whole of Hong Kong and Lantau Island with our naked eyes but its didn't look nice in camera.
Later we were taken to the Tsim Sa Shui (Avenues of Stars). Its nothing much there except that you can see the 'walk-of-fame' for the famous hongky actors/actresses. Its was s short stop just to take some pictures and enjoy the scenery.
After that we went to Canton Road Ocean Centre for some shopping. Its like Starhill in Malaysia with all their branded items. I so badly wanted to buy something original!! I went to their boutique like Chanel, Miu Miu and Burberry but could not find anyting that caught my eyes....so frustrated!! I tried looking for Etienne Aigner but i could not find one!! I managed to get of nice Hard Rock t-shirt for huby....i don't like their baby-T, hence i didn't get any for myself. After dinner we were taken to the Ladies Market (Mong Kok Road). Its just like Petaling Street but with much more things. Of course if you go HK, you must go to their Esprit, Sasa, Giordano and Benetton. Their things there are much cheaper if you compared to the same brand here.....so apalagi, shop till you drop lar!!!
Second day, we were taken to Lantau Island and took cable car ride up to enjoy the village. We all had lunch at Novotel Citygate Hotel. After lunch, shopping time again at Tungchung Citygate Mall. The place is like Pavillion and they have so many outlet there, eg, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Esprit, Giordano, etc. And i must confess their price is so much cheaper then the ones in Malaysia. Even their Body Shop things are cheaper. Best shopping kat situ!!
All of us in one cable-car!!
Next stop, Disneyland!! Yayy. I must confessed Hong Kong is the smallest Disneyland in Asia. At the moment they only have Adventureland, Tomorrow Land and Fantasy Land. I get to watch the 3D animation and ride on the train. We stayed till 8:30pm cos we wanted to witness the fireworks. It was allrite! I just got myself a disney t-shirt and some souveniers.
After Disney, back to Ladies Market for some last minute shopping before we leave tomoro. We all enjoyed the trip very much. The tour guide were excellent and the group that we had were just amazing!
Shenzen, mainland China
First day we arrived in Hong Kong airport, we were given an hour an a half to have our lunch. At the same time we took the opportunity 'jalan-jalan' around the airport. I had Popeye's shrimp value meal which cost me a freaking HK54!! Later we had to go to a ferry terminal for a tranfer to Shenzen. The immigration takes forever. After pulling our bags to the coach, we were taken to Windows of the World.
The place were fabulous. Within one day, you are able to visit many famous sites from different countries. You can find Angkor Wat, Cambodia as well as European architectural splendours such as Eiffel Tower, Ancient Athens, London Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Colosseum, etc. I'm impressed with the Pyramids and Sphinx and the Niagara Falls. Except for Manhattan and New York, to me, its not that impressive. Too bad KL Twin Towers are not there!
We stayed at Best Western Felicity Hotel. Not a bad 4 star hotel. Its just a walking distance to the Louhu mall.
I had my diner at a muslim restaurant and surprisingly the food is tasty. In fact for my 2 days stay there, the food has been satisfied.
The next day, we went to Louho Commercial City Mall. They have thousands of small shops there that sells imitation original. I was told that they have a grades to the imitation goods, from C, B and AAA. I didn't buy much of imitation goodsbut a few cute pouches for soveniers. We didn't spend much time there cos after that we had to go for another tour.
Visited 'Splendid of China'. It has more then 80 replicas of typical Chinese ancient buildings. Among them are the Great Wall of China, the Imperial Palace, the Temple of Confucius, etc. They have China Folk Cultures Villages. We took a tramp to go around the place and take photos of the beautiful sceneries. I enjoyed mostly their Cultural Dances, i find it spectacular. They are very professional and their stage technical is so international standard!! They also performed ancient battle. There were 4 performances altogether but one peformance were not allowed to take pictures. Its like skimming through the Chinese history at every step and touring around China in one day.

Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!
At 9am sharp today we picked up my parents. They wanted to go to Matta Fair. We're suppose to bring them there cos they wanna confirm their trip (erm...mama said don't tell other people yet where they're going...sigh....) Initially bee and me just wanna stay outside and wait for them to pay the deposit to the travel agent and confirm their trip. But papa insisted that we join them. Mau tak mau, terpaksa jugak lah ikut depa!! Come to think about it nasib baik jugak kitorang ikut cos we all sempat jalan-jalan survey-survey and finished everything around 1pm.
Later took them to Insaf Restoran for lunch....sigh....tak insaf-insaf jugak. Nak jugak makan kat sana!! Tak tau perlaris apa depa pakai nor!!hehehe. Lepaih tu jalan-jalan kat Semua House sampai petang.
We sent them back late evening, i think my parents were already tired and they needed some rest. After dropping them off, both of us decided that we do not wanna go home yet. Bee drove us to One Utama....mana lagi kan!!
We just decided spontaneously to watch the movie Dr Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! From the creator of Ice Age.
The plot :
In the movie "Horton Hears a Who," Jim Carey is the voice of Horton, the inventive and imaginative elephant who teaches his young friends about the amazing world around them. One day Horton, with his big ears, hears a voice on a speck of dust floating in the jungle air. Horton catches the speck on a dandelion, and begins to talk to the speck. The Mayor of Whoville (voice Steve Carell) talks to Horton, and the Mayor can not believe that there is something bigger than his world. After there are several climate changes (darkness in the middle of the day and snow in summer) that occur in Whoville, the Mayor believes that his world is in great danger. The Mayor tries to warn his people of the impending doom, but everybody ridicules him and thinks he is crazy. Horton is getting the same reaction from everyone who thinks he is also crazy; especially the kangaroo (voice Carol Burnett) who wants to get rid of the speck, and Horton's wild ideas. Horton defends the speck by saying that "a person's a person, no matter how small." Horton talks to the Mayor and tells him that he is going to put the speck in a safe place and out of danger.....the rest of the story.....u must go and watch lar....don't want to be a spoiler....hehehe

Review : Yes!! Definately funny and ticklish. There is a moral behind the story. Definately suitable for kids as well as adults. Go see it.

Matta Fair
I took leave today to go to Matta Fair. Its my first time there. Wanted to look for ground transfer to Bali. Yeah, we booked the flight early this year (hehehe) when AA offered great fare to Indonesia. We didn't tell anyone about it cos we didn't have other details for the trips, like accommodation and itinerary. No point telling others when you don't have enough details right, hehehe. We purposely waited for the Matta fair to get a good deal on Bali hotels/tours. And the second reason is also to find a good rate for Bangkok. A couple fren is going to Bangkok on the 1st week of May. We thot we'd love to join them, if possible :)
Once we bought our entrace ticket which is RM3 per person, took our free tote-bags, the first thing we did was to check-out the Bangkok package. Man! They were so many people! Initially we thot we could get a good package deal but we surveyed and make inquiries and nothing came out to our budget. The flights be it Air-Asia, MAS and Thai Airways were so expensive, it cost about RM1,200K for one person for flight only, belum masuk ground transfer and accommodation lagi!! No wonderlah, its peak season since 1st May is Labour Day around the world (i didn't know, bee told me, hehe). We really really wanted so much to join our good friend to Bangkok but its just not meant to be. Sorry guys, maybe next time insyallah, next destination??!!
At last after making several inquiries, several stops at most of the booths, walking around the exhibition halls for many rounds, collecting brochures along the way, being harassed by numerous sales promoters, kaki pun dah sakit, finally, we managed to get a good deal for Bali.
All the while, bee already decided that we should go there for relaxation and stay at some 'less-crowded' place. As you know, i'm a beach lover, so i wanted to stay in some beach-front hotel but hotels in Kuta/Legian area does not have private beach and i'm not that keen on Sanur area. We've been checking-out Bali maps via internet for the past few months and we decided and identified to stay somewhere in Tanjung Benoa/Nusa Dua area which is more quiet. We also read so many reviews about hotels/resorts/villas around the area.
We were about to engage with one hotel representative from Bali; until we came across Tradewinds Travel Agency who matches our requirement but with more goodies added-in such as; ground transfer, full board halal-meals and 2 full days tour. It might cost a little bit more but i guess it saves our time looking for meals and tours (actually i takda masa nak check-out on meal places and tours.....overwhelm with work-work-work).
Bee suggested the resort since we both fell in love with the place after looking at their promising brochures. It looks relaxing and peaceful. The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the airport and they have shuttle service twice a day to go to Kuta town which is only 25 minutes away. At first bee wanted to stay in Ubud area but I don't want to stay in a too secluded area altho' the sceneries were beautiful. Alas he gave in to me and we unanimously decided to stay in Tanjung Benoa. Insyallah, we'll be going there some time in June. Up till today nobody knows (incl my immediate family n relatives) about us going Bali except for those who reads this blog, hehehe.

Jack's Place
After office-hours yesterday, bee n i went to One Utama. I needed to alter my jeans which i bought at the Just Jeans outlet months ago. There were so many people becos its school holiday and sale time again, hence the place were quite pack with people.
We were walking towards the new wing and trying to figure out where to eat. There were so many places to choose from but i'm quite 'muak' with fast-food already and Secret Recipe and Fish & Co doesn't look tempting at that moment.
I wanted to take a peep at the 'Wh' when we saw people queing up at 'Jack's Place'. We always passed by this place but never had the 'temptation' to wanna go in. We thot we'd just browse thru their menus and see what's nice. Entah macam-mana we decided to give it a try.
I'm not being bias here but this place rocks!! The food received bee and my 2 thumbs up. Bee orded the dinner set which offered shrimp cocktail, garlic bread, mushroom soup, grilled rib-eye steak with scallop, coffee/tea and dessert of the day. Initially i wanted to order the set too but then i know that i would not be able to finish my main dish and i'll just share bee's other dishes. I ordered fish n chips....duh!! What else could i order lar....hehehe
The toasted garlic bread came first, memang tasty (like the normal ones you tried in other restaurants lah). Then the shrimp & chicken cocktail. The thousand island is sooo delicious unlike the normal ones that we always had. We wiped out everyting and came the mushroom soup......perhhh.....sedapnya!! We're thinking, eh, not bad jugak this place. But we don't wanna put high hope.
Then my main dish came. The breaded-crumb on my fish were so incredibly sedap!! The fish, not to over-cooked and juicy. Their tar-tar sauce must have been home-made cos its soooo sedap!! They were generous with their fries and salad. Later bee's main dish pulak came. I took a bite on his saute vege....i've never tasted a perfectly cooked vege....its not overcooked, the carrot and long beans were cruncy and tasty. Bee said he gives 9 out of 10 for his beef!! Wow!! He knows he's beef, so i know the beef must've been good! I took a bite of the corn on the cob....itupun sedap....crunch and juicy. I think the cook must have make sure that everything on the place is of good quality! No wonderlar....this restaurant originated from Singapore. They surely have high-standard on their food preparation.
We're thinking, how come we didn't discover this place earlier despite reading its review from magazines/newspapers and other people's blog.....but now we know we're gonna be their regulars...hehehe, maybe in 2 weeks time ke?? The bills came out to a surprisingly very very 'reasonable'!! They have another outlet in Sunway Pyramid's Oasis Boulevard. There's so much more other dishes to tryout. Can't wait!!
