Hornbill Restaurant & Cafe

Didn't know that this restaurant existed till bee read its review on the saturday newspaper. This place use to be Carls' Junior last 13 years ago or so. Bee and i used to date here. I liked its peace and quiet area plus its green surroundings.

Now its a 3 storey restaurant named after the popular bird stop for locals & tourists visit.

So here we are trying to check out the place. Their menu is on the expensive side, i guess cos a lot of tourist/foreigners come to this place. Currently they are having a 20% discount for Mykad holders. It serves local and international cuisine.

Dining outside is the best. You get to enjoy the birds chirping in the park and you get to see Hornbill fly from one tree to another.

A glimspt of a black/yellow birdy.

We ordered the local dishes.

Nasi Goreng "Malaysian Style" (RM13.00)....so-so only...

Sweet & sour fish with steamed rice (RM13.00). Bee said the meals were so-so.

Half Dozen of Chicken Satay (RM9.00). The satay is simply DELICIOUS!! I guess its their best selling item so far. You won't regret if you order their satay.

While having our meals, a white birdy flew very near to our table. Its harmless tho, maybe it just want attention!!

Today the service were quite bad considering there were not many customers. Luckily we got the chance to sit outside cos the main attraction is dining outside. Too bad the seat outside is very limited and so you have to make a reservation.
